How It Works
The A6VM is a hydraulic motor, not a pump. Oil enters the motor. The piston group reacts through the bent-axis rotary assembly. Hydraulic energy is turned into rotary output.
That is the basic job. Flow comes in. Shaft torque comes out.
Because the displacement is variable, the motor can shift between higher torque and higher speed depending on the operating condition. At larger displacement, torque goes up and speed drops. Reduce displacement, and the motor can run faster. Simple idea. Very useful in hydrostatic drives.
